We’re living in a thriller that only reality could write. Breakdown and breakthrough – death and rebirth – creative destruction writ large. As this year’s Bioneers Conference will exemplify, there’s as much cause for hope as for horror, and the ground truth is that how this story turns out is up to us. Nothing less than a step change in human evolution will do. Never has it been more important for us to exercise our vision, our agency, our solidarity and our voices.
That’s what we’ll all be doing together at Bioneers 2018. The theme is “Pathways Forward,” and we’re excited to release the slate of keynotes.
For many people, Bioneers is a guidance system, a lighthouse that illuminates successful models, solutions and many of the greatest visionary change-makers of our time. Together we’ll experience the vital restored world that is not only possible – it’s arising everywhere. As Bioneers shows, this movement of movements is far bigger, deeper and more mature than most people realize.
Solutions may be closer than they appear. Perhaps it took a breakdown this extreme to mobilize enough people to rise up to claim our citizenship and change the system. Bioneers 2018 will show how this shift is already underway.
Our Native-led Indigenous Forum is a unique and fertile gathering of First Peoples building bridges with each other (90 Indian nations in 2017) and non-Native allies. Bioneers youth make up 20% of the 3,000-4,000 participants at a historic moment when youth movements are ascendant everywhere. And just as it is in today’s world, the leadership of women will be in full flower at Bioneers.
We’re the majority and we need to start acting like it. Rise up with us as we transform our relationship to nature, each other and own humanity. Changing the system begins with a change of heart. Come and experience this Revolution From the Heart of Nature…
